The Punjab School Education Board was established in November 1969 for the development and promotion of school education in the state of Punjab.

The Board comprises of a Chairman, Vice Chairman and twenty five other members including Educationists, Academicians and Political members.

The Board comprises of four main branches i.e. Academic Branch, Examination Branch, Publication Branch and Administration/Accounts Branch. These branches control various activities and functions of the Board.

The board has a full-fledged wing with all the necessary expertise for the production and sale of text books upto senior secondary level.

At present, the Punjab School Education Board conducts the public Examinations at Middle, Matriculation and Senior Secondary level.

PSEB Results Punjab School Education Board came into existence through a legislative enactment in November 1969 for the development and promotion ofschool education in the state of Punjab. In 1987, the Vidhan Sabha amended the Board’s Act to grant it autonomy. The scope of Board’s functions is very wide and covers almost every aspect/stage.
